See here's the deal - I say buy it. If we don't buy these radios, they will stop making them and then we're screwed. It's not going to kill your budget and you could always gift them.

I wish CCRANE would make something like this. I have a few CCRANE radios but I need something with dual speakers for stereo.

Can you do a troubleshooting video on the radio. Mine keeps shutting off automatically after a few seconds. I also tried resetting it and that does not seem to work either. The owners manual is not helpful.

A little distracting however, the way you talk in a flirtatious manner while gently bouncing on the bed on your knees having a mock pillow fight with girlfriend, careful to not talk much above a whisper lest you wake the parents. To me, station 🚉 presets are radio 📻 stations, preprogrammed into the radio at the factory 🏭. Any other presets are what we have programmed into the radio manually. Your friend, Jeff.

I bought one from Japan but when I got back home to Canada I realized the FM radio band doesn’t cover all the frequencies. 😢

I would have bought the Raddy RF919 if I only could get past its cyberpunk, industrial/military equipment looks. It reminds me of a sophisticated communications device from some science fiction movie. That wide backlit green LCD panel is conveys so much information and the secondary color LCD screen looks like a signal tracking monitor. All-around backlit push buttons? Awesome. This Raddy would have been at home aboard the fictional deep space mining ship _Nostromo_ in the classic 1979 sci-fi horror movie _Alien_ 😀 They just had to ruin the RF919's looks by putting a speaker grille from of some grotesque looking, early 1980s boombox. 📻😑

Never understood why people gave Maglite sh!t, my 35 year old one still works. Did do the LED upgrade though. Yes there are higher lumen lights out there, I had 2 and they are broken. Plus they require expensive batteries. 192lm is great for in and around the house and general camping. Eyeballing a blue one for my son, nib on second hand market.

Looked at the cc pro on Amazon and it says frequently returned item.

That is a bucket load of İnternal noise. The radio needs a serious re work before I'd consider buying one.

Hi todderbert (me longtime subscriber). My Sangean 909 has stopped working after many years of faithful service (we suffered through a bad electrical storm). Knowing the quality level of Sangean radios, is this a worthy replacement for a 909? The Raddy has many features, but is it a good performer on SW?

you should do a series teaching how to use the radio features like uhf, vhf, airband, single side band, long wave, short wave... differences, what are they, how to use them, when to use them... for us we only know about am and fm
